| dc.description.abstract | In 1830 Venezuela attracted the commercial interests of Europe and the United States through mechanisms like the International Exhibitions: expression of national identity, progress and modernity. In the following article images refl ected self-identifi cation through the architectural styles of Venezuelan pavilions are discussed, the space of its exhibition and the nature of the those, characteristics that shows a number of contradictions between the outside and inside by fast changes occurred, complex and disjointed experienced by this nation to join the advanced world and show society. | |
