Abstract

This study presents a perspective of placement of : digo, dicen and vamos a decir in the analysis of the discurse modalization. The data was taken from (16) speakers from the Corpus Sociolinguistico de Merida (Dominguez y Mora, 1995). Based on a descriptive procedure this research includes the special featur es and functions of the markers above, taking into account researches of Fant (2005), Fer nandez (2005), Fuentes (2005), Meyer (1988), Sorensen (1999), Sperber & Wilson (2004) among others. An axis of symetry is
