Herramientas virtuales para mejorar las competencias digitales en los docentes en tiempos de pandemia

Abstract
La llegada de la pandemia generó que muchos docentes se replantearan sus procesos de enseñanza, sobre todo, en herramientas virtuales, por lo que el objetivo del presente estudio fue determinar si un programa de capacitación en herramientas virtuales permite mejorar las competencias digitales en docentes. La metodología fue de tipo aplicada. Su diseño fue pre-experimental. Se empleó la técnica de la encuesta y por instrumentos se usaron dos cuestionarios los cuales midieron las dos variables de estudio. La población fue de 77 docentes de los tres niveles de educación. Los datos recolectados fueron procesados y ordenados a darle respuesta a los objetivos del estudio y a las pruebas de hipótesis. Por resultados se obtuvo que existe una significativa mejora en el desempeño pedagógico de los docentes al emplear las plataformas tecnológicas, asimismo, en la información acerca de las bondades que ofrecen las nuevas tecnologías en contextos de pandemia.
The arrival of the pandemic caused many teachers to rethink their teaching processes, especially in virtual tools, so the objective of this study was to determine whether the training program in virtual tools allows improving digital competencies in teachers. The methodology was applied. Its design was pre-experimental. The survey technique was used and two questionnaires were used as instruments to measure the two study variables. The population consisted of 77 teachers at the three levels of education. The data collected have been processed and ordered to answer the objectives of the study and the hypothesis tests. The results showed that there is a significant improvement in the pedagogical performance of teachers when using technological platforms, as well as in the information about the benefits offered by new technologies in pandemic contexts.
