dc.description.abstractAn analysis of the free throw by one (1) athlete highly competitive selection of wheelchair basketball Merida state is presented. A twodimensional method (2D) was used. It is automatically scanned by Human v.5.0. It was recorded with a camera HS 120 fps. The videos were edited and biomechanical variables were calculated. Finally,  the athlete presented a horizontal speed in releasing the ball toward the horizontal decanting, moreover, there is a vertical offset shoulder 0,19m average. ± 0.04m. The athlete performs a small shoulder  recoil 0.04m. Being a decisive winin a game of basketball skills, this research provides data quantified variables that influence the effectiveness of the launch and allows you to set parameters to guide coaches, athletes, methodologists and psychologists in the planning of sports training.
