| dc.description.abstract | In this paper, we present our experience in the use of simple KML files and Google Earth to reinforce the learning of fundamentals of Object Oriented programming. We believe that this approach would reduce the difficulty of understanding abstract concepts like decomposition, fields and methods. We report on our exploratory study the assessment of student engagement. This approach would serve to motivate students about computation and enable students to process data to solve real problems. | |
