Abstract
El aprendizaje a lo largo de la vida (ALV) se presenta como una concepción que pretende potenciar el desarrollo de las personas hacia el ejercicio pleno de todas sus potencialidades, brindándoles las oportunidades de acceso al conocimiento en cualquier etapa de su vida. Las instituciones de educación superior tienen el rol de acercar las ofertas formativas a las necesidades de sus beneficiarios de forma pertinente. En este proceso, es necesario que reconozcan la oportunidad que les brinda el ALV, flexibilizando aspectos normativos y administrativos, reconociendo competencias logradas en ámbitos no académicos y promoviendo su continuidad.
Currently, Long Life Learning (LLL) is presented as a conception intended to empower the development of people towards full practice of their potentialities, giving them access to the knowledge in any stage of their lifes. Universities have the role of bring closer educational offers and the needs of their beneficiaries. In this process, they need to realize the opportunity LLL brings them, to flexibilize managerial and normative matters, to recognize competencies achieved in non-academic environments and to promote its continuity.
