Abstract
El presente artículo identifica los indicadores más relevantes sobre el estado de la educación primaria en Bolivia. El objetivo es proporcionar información cuantitativa válida y actual sobre la situación educativa de niños y niñas en edad de cursar el nivel primario escolar. También, se analiza la evolución de datos e indicadores educativos para establecer la tendencia del comportamiento de importantes variables educativas en los últimos años. Para ello, se identificaron tres variables: Oportunidad, Aprovechamiento (calidad), y Equidad. La información presentada incluye datos sobre matrícula, cobertura, término, abandono, reprobación, repetición, rezago y promoción de los estudiantes del nivel, además de información sobre maestros y unidades educativas.
This article identifies the most important indicators of the state of primary education in our country. The objective is to provide current and valid quantitative data on the educational situation of children in school age primary school level. Also, the evolution of educational indicators and data is analyzedto establish the trend of the behavior of important educational variables in recent years. The work identified three variables: Opportunity, Achievement (quality), and Equity. The information provided includes data on enrollment, coverage, termination, abandonment, failure, repetition, lag and promotion of elementary students, plus information on teachers and schools.
