| dc.description.abstract | This paper presents an optimizing method to set the working conditions of a shaper. Using the Factorial Design Method, it has been posible to determine the influence of the working variables on the surface finish or rugosity of the work piece; these variables can be studied one, two or three at a time. As a result, it has been possible to obtain the ranges where thp tting variables significantly affect surface finish. | |
