Abstract

The fibroid is benign neoplasm with predominance in the oral cavity. Traumatic fibrosis originates as a reaction to chronic injury. This case report mentioned a traumatic fibroma with rapid evolution, alarming situation for the dentist and patient as this sign suggests feature of malignancy, although the results of histopathological examination of the injury evaluated in the present case showed no criteria of malignancy
