Abstract
El propósito del estudio fue demostrar la eficacia del programa educativo "Sophia" en el desarrollo de habilidades blandas para la empleabilidad en los jóvenes de EBA del ciclo avanzado. Es una investigación cuasi experimental, se trabajó con una muestra de 40 jóvenes distribuidos en dos grupos (experimental y control), se empleó un instrumento validado por juicio de expertos. La confiabilidad demostró buena consistencia interna (α=,817). Se encontró que el programa "Sophia" ha incrementado los niveles de las habilidades blandas en los estudiantes. Así también, el desarrollo de las habilidades interpersonales, intrapersonales y habilidades cognitivas. Los resultados demuestran que las habilidades blandas se pueden aprender o afianzar por medio de talleres enfocados en su desarrollo en un proceso de aprendizaje actitudinal. Estas habilidades mejoran el perfil de empleabilidad, el desempeño en las entrevistas de trabajo, retención del empleo y una vida más plena.

It is a quasi-experimental research, working with a sample of 40 young people distributed in two groups (experimental and control), an instrument validated by expert judgment was used. The reliability showed good internal consistency (α=.817). It was found that the "Sophia" program has increased the levels of soft skills in students. Also, the development of interpersonal skills, intrapersonal skills and cognitive skills. The results show that soft skills can be learned or strengthened through workshops focused on their development in an attitudinal learning process. These skills improve employability profile, job interview performance, job retention and a more fulfilling life.
