Abstract
La relación entre los rasgos de personalidad, los estilos de aprendizaje y el rendimiento académico es crucial para comprender cómo estos factores afectan el éxito de los estudiantes. Este estudio tiene como objetivo identificar el nivel de influencia de la personalidad y los estilos de aprendizaje en el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes universitarios. Se realizó un estudio cuantitativo con un análisis correlacional causal, utilizando una muestra probabilística de 238 estudiantes. Se emplearon el Cuestionario Breve de Personalidad (CBP) y las calificaciones del último trimestre para la recolección de datos. Los resultados mostraron que el 61.3% de los estudiantes presentan una personalidad en un nivel regular, el 53.7% tienen un estilo de aprendizaje en nivel regular, y el 58.8% obtienen un rendimiento académico en nivel regular. Las conclusiones indican que tanto los rasgos de personalidad como los estilos de aprendizaje influyen significativamente en el rendimiento académico, con una contribución del 72.4% en el desempeño de los estudiantes.
