Modelo ontológico para bases de datos multimedia

Abstract

The multimedia databases have been a great development in the last years. The effective use of multimedia metadata requires of multimedia databases to manage, store, look for and give metadata. This database needs to have knowledge about the data mediates and metadata locates, and must connect use descriptions with the requirements of resources mediate. All this implies a series of manipulations that must be defined through very specific parameters that contemplate their semantics, that is to say, their concepts, operations and restrictions. This paper shows ontology to represent the concepts, operations and restrictions that have multimedia databases, as well as a study case of generated model.
