Desarrollo de la competencia comunicativa en educación superior

Abstract
En la actualidad, es necesario contar con todas las competencias, por la razón que se vive en un escenario complejo, impulsado por la tecnología y la globalización; esto implica que para afrontar los retos que vienen, los estudiantes aparte de tener fuertes competencias técnicas, también deben tener dominio adecuado de las competencias comunicativas (CC), que vienen a ser como la base de otras habilidades. Por ello, el objetivo de estudio fue identificar el desarrollo de la CC en la educación superior; bajo una revisión bibliográfica que inició con la búsqueda de artículos, tesis doctorales y libros en las siguientes bases de datos: Scielo, Redalyc, Dialnet, Scopus, WoS, EBSCO, ProQuest y Gale; luego de la aplicación de los criterios de inclusión y exclusión quedaron 20 artículos para el análisis y presentación de resultados. En el proceso de búsqueda se emplearon las siguientes palabras clave "Communicative competence", "Communicative skills", "Linguistic competence", "Higher education". Para lograr resultados concretos se combinaron con los operadores booleanos "and" y "or". En conclusión, la CC es importante para la vida académica y profesional; su desarrollo debe tomar en cuenta por lo menos ciertos componentes esenciales y de por medio la aplicación de estrategias, programas e intervenciones.
Nowadays, it is necessary to have all the competencies, for the reason that we live in a complex scenario, driven by technology and globalization; this implies that to face the challenges that come, students apart from having strong technical competencies, must also have adequate mastery of communicative competencies (CC), which come to be like the basis of other skills. Therefore, the objective of the study was to identify the development of CC in higher education; under a literature review that began with the search for articles, doctoral theses and books in the following databases: Scielo, Redalyc, Dialnet, Scopus, WoS, EBSCO, ProQuest and Gale; after the application of the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 20 articles remained for the analysis and presentation of results. The following keywords were used in the search process: "Communicative competence", "Communicative skills", "Linguistic competence", "Higher education". To achieve concrete results, they were combined with the Boolean operators "and" and "or". In conclusion, CC is important for academic and professional life; its development must take into account at least certain essential components and through the application of strategies, programs and interventions.
