Ilustrando la inclusión: herramientas visuales para la educación inclusiva en niños de preescolar

Abstract
El presente trabajo se llevó a cabo con estudiantes de cinco años de nivel inicial, docentes y padres de familia. La investigación fue de enfoque cualitativo y con un diseño de Investigación Acción Participativa. Se tuvo como objetivo principal determinar el aporte de la comunicación visual en la inclusión social de niños con discapacidad en una institución educativa en Trujillo, Perú. Se aplicó la técnica de entrevista y como instrumento se utilizó la guía de entrevista. Los resultados reflejan que la estrategia de comunicación visual, plasmada en el cuento "Magia para el corazón", brindó un aporte significativo a la sociedad trujillana al contribuir a la inclusión social. Este cuento se convirtió en una herramienta innovadora para trabajar desde las aulas educativas.
The present study was carried out with five-year-old kindergarten students, teachers and parents. The research had a qualitative approach and a Participatory Action Research design. The main objective was to determine the contribution of visual communication in the social inclusion of children with disabilities in an educational institution in Trujillo, Peru. The interview technique was applied and the interview guide was used as an instrument. The results show that the visual communication strategy, embodied in the story "Magic for the heart", made a significant contribution to the Trujillo society by contributing to social inclusion. This story became an innovative tool to work with in educational classrooms.
