Diálogo La Paz: ¿ciudad moderna y sostenible?
Abstract
Investigadores analizan desde distintos ángulos la sostenibilidad del modelo de desarrollo urbano de la ciudad de La Paz. El reto de la metropolización; los problemas y las oportunidades económicas que tiene la ciudad para promover desarrollo y empleo; cómo entender y encarar la construcción de la ciudadanía urbana; y cuánto hemos avanzado en una convivencia de grupos diferentes culturalmente, son algunos de los temas abordados en este diálogo.
The sustainability of the urban development model implemented in the city of La Paz is analysed here by researchers from different angles. The challenge of metropolization; the city's economic problems and opportunities to promote development and employment; how to understand and address the construction of urban citizenship; and how much progress has been made in terms of culturally different groups living alongside each other - these are some of the issues discussed in this dialogue.
