Abstract
Esta investigación es una aproximación de la identificación de los conocimientos, habilidades, talentos y demás características del capital humano que determinan mejores rendimientos en la industria manufacturera mexicana. La investigación se realizó recolectando datos de una muestra de 402 pequeñas y medianas empresas manufactureras, durante periodo de 2010-2013. El hallazgo más importante es que existen competencias distintivas de tipo social que diferencian a las PYME de mejor desempeño en ventas, empleo y exportaciones.
The research is an approximation the identification of what knowledge, skills, talents and other characteristics of human capital to determine better yields in the Mexican industry. Thus, the research was supported by a sample of 402 small and medium-sized manufacturing companies, and we have monitored for period 2010-2013. The principal findings are the existence of outstanding social skills that SME have exploited in their better performance in sales, employment and exports.
