dc.description.abstractO objetivo deste ensaio é refletir sobre os caminhos e processos projetivos geradores das ações comunicativas no design de superficie, nos quais a superficie se constituí em um corpo capaz de receber e transmitir informações sensíveis. Ao aliar a exploração das potencialidades dessa interface com o conceito projetivo e industrial do design, buscamos aqui, portanto, discutir os possíveis meios de exploração de recursos e efeitos comunicacionais da superficie em um projeto de design de superficie.es
dc.description.abstractThe aim of the present work is to investígate the tactile communicational identity of surface design. As a communication tool that approaches the object and its users, surface design is inserted in a market context in which purchasing values extend beyond mechanical performance, embracing spheres of intangible contents. Surfaces are considered to be active interfaces, capable of establishing communication through sensitive codes. Therefore, the importance both of the content of the transmitted information and of the transmission itself are relevant matters in the intangible sphere of the living context and should be considered in a surface design project. The scope of this investigation covers the general issues of a design project, which involve the culture and the market environment, as well as the specific issues of the surface design practice. The authors chosen to support the discussions concerning the communication systems and the emotional experience market are: Fontenelle (2002), Lazzarato (2001), Negri (2001) and Görz (2005). Regarding matters of perception and cognition, the works of Nicolelis (2008) and Flusser (2008) were consulted.en
