This article illustrates the management process of the Integrated Mass Transit Systems (SITM) Megabus (Pereira, Colombia) and analyzes three relationships based on a review of the regulatory framework, interviews with the project stakeholders and content analysis of press articles. The relationships are the following: (i) those between government levels, (ii) those between municipalities, and (iii) those between the public and private sector. The article finds that the application of the national SITM program has been more successful than other experiences in the country because the metropolitan scale has been more present in the urban management than in other territories.
