Terrestrial topographical aps are a basic requirement for any Civil Engineering projects. Commonly those maps are elaborated through the use of traditional field surve methods, In some instances, when: a) The survey has to be completed in a short time period b) The terrain surface is very rough or of difficult accesibility c) The terrain has inestability Then it is necessary the use of terrestrial photogrammetry for having the advantajes: - field work is faster - limited physical contact with the terrain surface - high precision on measurements This article shows two examples of aplications. The first or Earthworks computations. The second on surveying of a DAM site.
