Institucionalización y fomento de la investigación de la comunicación en treinta años de la Asociación Boliviana de Investigadores de la Comunicación (1981 - 2011)
Abstract
Este texto traza el camino recorrido por la Asociación Boliviana de Investigadores de la Comunicación (ABOIC), en cuanto a la institucionalización y el fomento a la investigación de la comunicación en los treinta años de su existencia. Se describe los dos periodos de esta trayectoria y se señala las actividades que se realizaron como parte de un proceso de construcción de legitimidad académica e incentivo de la actividad investigadora. Asimismo, se identifica momentos clave o hitos en esta historia como la fundación y refundación de la Asociación y las personas que hicieron que esto sea posible.
This essay presents the path followed by the Bolivian Association of Communication Researchers (ABOIC), and its labor to institutionalize and promote the Communication Research through its thirty years of existence. This work describes two periods of this trajectory and points out the activities of ABOIC as part of an academic legitimacy and encouragement construction process. It also identifies key moments in this story like the foundation or re-foundation of the Association and the people that made this possible.
