dc.description.abstractIn this article we explore the possibility that if music theory, to acquire deeper insight into musical problems, has borrowed theoretical and methodological tools offered by linguistic science, then an approach in the contrary direction might be useful in elucidating linguistic problems, particularly those of prosody and poetic rhythm.
