Abstract
El bienestar de vida de las familias que residen en zonas pe- troleras puede verse afectada a raíz de las condiciones laborales que se les brinda a los trabajadores. Esta investigación tiene como objetivo analizar las condiciones laborales de los trabajadores del sector petrolero de Sucumbíos y su incidencia en el bienestar de vida de sus familias. Es un estudio no experimental propositivo; con análisis estadístico; cuya recolección de datos se realizó a través de encuestas y entrevistas. Los resultados muestran que las condiciones laborales a las que son expuestos los trabajadores y sus familias afectan directamente en su salud física, emocional y mental, así como en su situación económica, con salarios que no cubren gastos de alimentación. Además, existe un clima y cultura reactiva, horarios y jornadas extenuantes y la precarización social y laboral como medio de esclavitud. Se concluye que las condiciones laborales de los trabajadores del sector petrolero influyen fuertemente en el bienestar de las familias que habitan en Sucumbíos.
The well-being of life of families residing in oil areas may be affected as a result of the working conditions provided to workers. In addition, there is a reactive climate and culture, exhausting schedules and days, and social and labor precariousness as a means of slavery. It is concluded that the working conditions of workers in the oil sector strongly influence the well-being of families living in Sucumbíos.
