dc.description.abstractSynovial sarcoma is a malignant growth of the soft parts of young people, scarcely of the head and neck. The tumor classic is two-phase composed by epithelial and spindle cells. The AA. report a new case of synovial sarcoma located in the oropharynx and the treatment followed, and discuss as well the histology and the origin of these tumors.
