Abstract

We present the results of the numerical integration of a mathematical model describing the dynamics of two unidirectional coupled lasers. The investigation centered on the characterization of the system dynamics, with a focus on the search for synchronization regions. In which, we take into account related terms such as noise, delay as well as the control parameters associated with line width enhancement and feedback. Bifurcation diagrams and periodicity-based parameter planes are essential to characterize the system’s dynamic behavior. Finally, synchronization regions were identified using two indicators, and a protocol was proposed to describe and interpret the system’s dynamic behavior associated with these synchronization regions.
