Abstract
El objetivo de la investigación centra su interés en las nuevas formas de comunicación en la educación actual dispuesta en entornos virtuales de una institución educativa del sector rural del cantón Marcelino Maridueña, período lectivo 2020-2021. Para la obtención de los resultados, se empleó una tipología investigativa descriptiva con enfoque mixto, de carácter transversal, de diseño no experimental, apoyados de los métodos analítico-sintético e inductivo-deductivo. Como técnica de recolección de datos se empleó la encuesta y como instrumento el cuestionario aplicado a una muestra tipo no probabilístico por conveniencia conformada por 79 escolares de Educación Básica Superior. Los resultados evidenciaron la presencia de una comunicación virtual de tipo síncrona y asíncrona, teniendo como herramientas que facilitan la situación comunicativa en ambas modalidades: el chat, los foros, videos educativos, video conferencias, los wikis, blogs y con un nivel alto de usabilidad de WhatsApp. El estudio concluye que, las herramientas empleadas tienen como medio el uso de recursos educativos digitales para el aprendizaje y trabajo colaborativo.
The objective of the research focuses on the new forms of communication in current education arranged in virtual environments of an educational institution in the rural sector of the Marcelino Maridueña canton, academic period 2020-2021. To obtain the results, a descriptive, explanatory research typology was used with a mixed approach, of a transversal nature, of non-experimental design, supported by analytical-synthetic and inductive-deductive methods that allowed the application of data collection instruments such as the survey applied to a sample of 79 students of Higher Basic Education. The results showed the presence of a virtual communication of synchronous and asynchronous type, having as tools that facilitate the communicative situation in both modalities: chat, forums, educational videos, video conferences, wikis, blogs and with a high level of Usability WhatsApp. The study concludes that the tools used have as a means the use of digital educational resources for learning and collaborative work.
