ENSAYO DE DIRECCIÓN DE ARRIBO AL METEORITO CAIDO EL 15 DE SEPTIEMBRE DE 2007 EN CARANCAS-PERÚ

Abstract
El 15 de septiembre de 2007 a horas 16:40(UT) se produjo la caída de un meteorito. El impacto ha creado un crater de 13 m de díametro y 5 m de profundidad. Sus coordenadas son 16°39'52"S y 69°02'39" W, la elevación del lugar es de 3825 msnm, y se situa en el municipio de Carancas, territorio peruano, cerca la frontera con Bolivia. En el presente artículo se realizan dos ensayos posibles para determinar la dirección de arribo del meteorito. Para un cálculo numérico se recurre a la información proporcionada por el Observatorio San Calixto que ha registrado el evento en su estación de infrasonido en territorio boliviano.
On September 15, 2007, at 16:40 (UT) 2007 a meteorite impacted Earth producing a crater of 13 m - diameter and 5 m - depth. Located at the coordinates 16°39'52"S and 69°02'39"W, and local altitude of 3825masl in the municipality of Carancas in Peru, close to the border with Bolivia. In the present article two possible tests were carried out to determine the direction of precedence of the meteorite. Data of the event registered by the San Calixto observatory's infrasound station in Bolivia was obtained to carry out numerical calculations.
