Abstract
El objetivo de este trabajo es caracterizar la facilitación del proceso docente en las aulas universitarias, para fortalecer los procesos comunicacionales. Es una investigación descriptiva que se aplica a los estudiantes de la carrera de Sociología de la Universidad de Machala, la misma que permite aclarar sobre el carácter de la mediación que se realiza en los procesos de enseñanza aprendizaje. Se utiliza encuestas para propiciar que los estudiantes expresen su opinión y a partir de ello se desarrolla un análisis interpretativo. Los resultados determinan pautas para los procesos del mejoramiento docente en base a la implementación de una verdadera mediación.

It is a descriptive research that applies to the students of Sociology of the University of Machala, the same that allows clarifying on the nature of the mediation that are performed in the processes of teaching and learning. Surveys is used to encourage students to express their opinion and from this develops an interpretative analysis. The results determine guidelines for the processes of teaching improvement based on the implementation of atrue mediation
