Abstract
This article reviews the different episodes in Nationalism and the colonial regime to show the close relationship Montenegro established between the history of Bolivia and literary genres such as the epic, drama, comedy and the novel. The review concludes that, far from representing the multiple and dissonant Bolivian reality of social movements demanding their right to exist, this essay does not escape the colonialism it attacks and denounces.
