Incidencia de la aplicación de gamificación en la enseñanza del idioma inglés en tiempos COVID-19

Abstract
El COVID-19 se convirtió en un fenómeno mundial que afectó a los países en muchas áreas, entre ellas la educación. Lo que marcó el inicio de metodologías educativas en línea siendo una de las estrategias de mayor auge la gamificación. Este estudio está centrado en la optimización de las habilidades en el idioma inglés de 62 estudiantes de la Universidad de Guayaquil con los que se trabajaron con gamificación para mejorar sus habilidades es este idioma. En este sentido, el propósito de esta investigación estuvo orientado a determinar la incidencia de la aplicación de Gamificación en la enseñanza del idioma inglés durante la pandemia. Se trabajó bajo un enfoque mixto, como técnica se usó la encuesta como pretest y postest combinado con la aplicación de estrategias lúdicas. Se concluye que la aplicación de la Gamificación alcanzó un alto nivel de incidencia significativa en la enseñanza del idioma inglés durante la pandemia.
