In this paper a multiconductor transmission lines analysis which accounts the frequency parameters are presented, this analysis was made through the incorporation of Numerical Laplace Transform (NLT). A program that allows to know the surges produced lightning stroke occurrences in the different points of the line was developed, modeled from the injection of a current source, which allows to choose the best selection of devices insulation and in addition to obtain one better selection of surge arresters implantation, contributing this way to the insulation coordination. The method proposed here is applied to several practical examples. One of them is a three-phase line of the substation Buena Vista, which arrives at the substation Valera II.
