Acompañamiento pedagógico del directivo, una estrategia para la mejora de la práctica pedagógica

Abstract
El acompañamiento pedagógico es una estrategia de formación docente en servicio basada en la reflexión crítica, cuya finalidad es fortalecer las competencias profesionales de los docentes y por ende lograr mejores aprendizajes en los estudiantes. Este estudio tuvo como objetivo analizar el proceso de acompañamiento pedagógico que realizaron los directivos de las instituciones educativas del nivel inicial. Para tal fin, se realizó un estudio cualitativo, de diseño fenomenológico hermenéutico, se aplicó una entrevista semiestructurada a directivos, docentes y especialista seleccionados por conveniencia y la información fue procesada a través de la técnica de triangulación. Los hallazgos demostraron que los directivos aplicaron de manera parcial el acompañamiento pedagógico debido a su escasa formación para ejercer el rol de acompañante. Concluyendo en la necesidad de implementar programas de formación para directivos con intervención del Ministerio de Educación en coordinación con instituciones de formación docente como universidades o institutos superiores.
Pedagogical accompaniment is an in-service teacher training strategy based on critical reflection, whose purpose is to strengthen teachers' professional competencies and thus achieve better student learning. The conclusion was that there is a need to implement training programs for managers with the intervention of the Ministry of Education in coordination with teacher training institutions such as universities or higher education institutes.
