| dc.description.abstract | La finalidad del siguiente articulo es explicar el funcionamiento de los sensores ultrasonicos, asi como exponer las ventajas de estos dispositivos frente a los sistemas utilizados actualmente en el campo de reconocimiento de patrones. En el presente documento se exponen las caracteristicas de los sensores ultrasonico HC-SR04, los rangos que pueden alcanzar en base a los algoritmos de y herramientas de programacion que se utilicen para adquirir los datos provenientes del sensor. Ademas, se explica las principales diferencias que existen entre un sistema de reconocimiento de patrones basado en ultrasonicos y uno basado en el reconocimiento de imagenes. Abstract The purpose of the next article is to explain the operation of ultrasonic sensors, as well as to explain the advantages of these devices over current systems in the field of pattern recognition. In the present document the characteristics of the HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensors are exposed, the ranges that can be reached based on the algorithms and programming tools used to acquire the data coming from the sensor.
