Abstract

Daran anschlieend beleuchtet der Artikel das Konzept von Communities of Practice -Gemeinschaften, die sich einem gemeinsamen Problem oder einer gemeinsamen Herausforderung widmen.Dieser Ansatz dient als Ausgangspunkt fr berlegungen zum Thema Community Building und wie dieses an Hochschulen aussehen kann.Wie lassen sich diese theoretischen Aspekte dann in die Praxis bersetzen?In diesem Artikel werden exemplarische Community-Building-Manahmen an der HTW Berlin vorgestellt und beleuchtet, welche Herausforderungen dieses Vorhaben mit sich bringt.This article explores the topic of community building in the context of higher education.More specifically, how community building can contribute to the further development of university teaching.The central aspects that frame this article are a brief examination of the understanding of knowledge and collective knowledge.The article then examines the concept of Communities of Practice -communities dedicated to a common problem or challenge.This approach serves as a starting point for considerations on the topic of community building and what this can look like at universities.How can these theoretical aspects be translated into practice?In this article, exemplary community building measures at HTW Berlin are presented and the challenges this project entails are highlighted.
