7+1’ International Meeting for Researchers in Materials and Plasma Technology

Abstract

These proceedings present the written contributions of the participants of the 7+1’ International Meeting for Researchers in Materials and Plasma Technology (7+1’ IMRMPT), which was held from April 9 to 11, 2025, in the facilities of the Centro Académico Cultural, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, campus Juriquilla, Querétaro, Mexico, organized by the Foundation Of Researchers In Science and Technology Of Materials (FORISTOM), Colombia, the Centro de Investigación y de Estudios Avanzados (Cinvestav) del Instituto Politécnico Nacional, Unidad Querétaro, México, and the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, campus Juriquilla, Mexico; this was the 7+1’ version of biennial meetings that began in 2011. The Journal of Physics: Conference Series (JPCS) proceedings volume consists of 12 contributions that were presented as talks at the conference; the abstracts of all participants’ contributions were published in the Abstract Book with ISSN 2422-3824. The scientific program of the 7+1’ IMRMPT consisted of 6 Plenary Lectures, 3 Keynotes, 76 Oral Presentations, and 86 Poster Presentations, with the participation of undergraduate and graduate students, professors, researchers, and entrepreneurs from Mexico, Colombia, Spain, the United States of America, among others. Moreover, IMRMPT aims to bring together researchers to strengthen the Materials Science, Engineering, and Nanotechnology Researchers Network (MRN), fostering scientific cooperation with a global impact; the MRN promotes the exchange of innovative ideas and the effective transfer of academic and scientific knowledge, from basic research to developing technology and innovation, with applies to both academic and industrial sectors involved in energy, manufacturing, nanotechnology, health, and environmental areas, to strengthen social inclusion and support different life forms.
