In the present article, it is analyzed the difference between the Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) and the Carrier-to-Noise Ratio (CNR) for the Digital Television System, ISDB-Tb (Integrated Services Digital Broadcasting-Terrestrial Brazil). To achieve it, the number and amplitude of payload and pilot carriers into ISDB-Tb useful signal's bandwidth are considered based on the standard [1, p.13]. The importance of the analysis is given by the section I based on [2]. It is also considered some analysis of the SNR and the CNR proposed by [3, p.404, 389] for the European digital television system DVB-T (Digital Video Broadcasting Terrestrial). Finally, an experiment is performed in order to validate the theoric results.
