Abstract

This article attempts to confront the esthetics that are present in Jorge Eliecer Gaitan’s political proposal and the politics that are present in Rogelio Salmona’s aesthetic proposal, in the light of an unfinished architectural project in Bogota: The Jorge Eliecer Gaitan Museum and Cultural Centre, previously known as the “Exploratorio Nacional”.
