Las adolescencias: (ENSAYO)

Abstract

El artículo es parte de una investigación sobre el tema de la adolescencia en el siglo XXI y las características particulares de los jóvenes de la ciudad de El Alto-La Paz. El título de adolescencias en plural establece una apuesta por remarcar que existe una diversidad de formas de vivir la adolescencia y una pluralidad por tanto de adolescentes, cada uno con su experiencia y su historia particular, buscando y encontrando posibles salidas, las mismas que se autorizan desde la singularidad subjetiva de cada uno. Hablar de adolescencias implica, tomar en cuenta la ausencia de un modelo de adolescente universal, la ausencia de adultos con "palabra" como referentes, saber que no hay en el desenlace de un adolescente un determinismo psíquico, ni el triunfo autónomo de una voluntad de poder.De este modo, los adolescentes tienen que inventarse a sí mismos, enfrentar los obstáculos, pues se viven sin lugar en la sociedad para ellos, son invisibles a la mirada de los adultos y de la comunidad.

This article is part of an ongoing research about the adolescence in the 21st century and the particular characteristics of the youths in the city of El Alto - La Paz. The title in plural implies that there are diverse ways of living the adolescence, hence there is a plurality of adolescents, each one with its experience and particular story, searching, finding possible exits, the same that are authorized from the subjective singularity of each one. To talk about adolescences implies to take into account the absence of a universal model of adolescent; the absence of reference adults who "honor their word"; to know that there is no psychic determinism in the "outcome" of an adolescent, nor is there an autonomous triumph on the will of power. Therefore the adolescents have to invent/create themselves, face the obstacles, as they live without a place for them in the society. They are invisible to the sight of adults and the community.
