dc.description.abstractThe research aimed to develop an educational experience on the elaboration of a videocast, in addition to the construction and implementation of a WebQuest on the International Classification of Diseases, which was conducted during the semester A-2015, of the Technical Colleges career Health Statistics in the Valley Mocoties core of the University of Los Andes. Educational practice college student sought to reach an understanding beyond rote memorization of procedures; applicative activities were requested for the participant to observe the training value of the Internet, in addition to using the information consciously. The experiment was carried out under a constructivist theory of learning, with a focus on learning by doing. The research method is based on a qualitative approach and a field type, with a descriptive design scope and action research. The educational process through WebQuest and videocast generated new ways of systematic production using educational activities seeking to expand critical thinking, which was shown in student productions.
