Diálogo: Derechos indígenas y autonomías Departamentales

Abstract

A poco tiempo de la instalación de la Asamblea Constituyente, y con el objetivo de aportar al debate, el Vicepresidente del Estado Plurinacional de Bolivia, Álvaro García Linera, investigadores, analistas políticos y una líder indígena, participaron en un diálogo sobre derechos indígenas y autonomías departamentales. En el encuentro, también, se analizó la existencia de un Estado multinacional, la redistribución del poder territorial y político, las bases de una economía andino-amazónica, nuevos mestizajes, entre otros importantes temas.

Shortly after the inauguration of the Constitutional Assembly, and with the aim of contributing to the debate, the Vice-President of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, Álvaro García Linera, together with researchers, political analysts and an indigenous leader, participated in a dialogue on indigenous rights and departmental autonomies. They also analysed the existence of a plurinational state, the redistribution of territorial and political power, the foundations of an Andean-Amazonian economy, new mestizajes, and other important issues.
