LO CULTURAL, SOCIAL E IDENTITARIO EN EL TOCH

Abstract

La presente investigación analiza las apropiaciones culturales y sociales que las Trabajadoras Asalariadas del Hogar (TAH) le dan al celular a través de su consumo. Para ello, se aplicó una metodología cualitativa ligada a la etnografía, con entrevistas y observación, con el fin de analizar la interacción entre el sujeto y el celular. El consumo cultural del celular es un proceso social, cultural e identitario, a través del cual ellas crean una cultura propia, individual, pero también colectiva a través de una comunidad virtual, dando lugar a que se construya su realidad a través del consumo del mismo.

This research analyzes the cultural and social appropriation that the TAH give to the cellphone through the use of it. The methodology used, linked to the ethnography, is qualitative, with interviews and observation of the interaction between the person and the cellphone. The cultural consumption is therefore a social, identitary and a cultural process in which they create their own, individual, but also a collective culture, in order to make a virtual community that takes place in the construction of their reality through the cellphone.
