Abstract
El presente trabajo de investigación, contiene un análisis sobre la normativa legal para la atención de siniestros en el Código de Comercio Boliviano y leyes que lo modifican, análisis que parte desde el aviso del siniestro, el plazo para el aviso, requerimientos de información al asegurado y plazo de pronunciamiento del seguro; contiene una interpretación sobre el plazo de aviso de siniestro y las salvedades establecidas para el incumplimiento del plazo del aviso.
This research piece contains a legal background analysis referred to sinister cases within the Bolivian Code of Commerce and related modifying laws. Such analysis departs from sinister's notification trough term to notification, insurance information requirements,to the insurance response time for sinister's case. It also covers an interpretation about the notification term and exceptions established to exceed the notification term.
