Abstract

El tipo de investigación fue observacional, descriptivo, transversal y analítico. La población estaba constituida por 304 mujeres que acuden al Hospital Dr. Jaime Sánchez Porcel de la ciudad de Sucre en el periodo de septiembre a noviembre 2013. Se calculó el OR con un nivel de confianza de 95 % y la prueba Chi cuadrado, para estimar las asociaciones de los factores de riesgo de la vaginosis bacteriana<br /> La prevalencia de vaginosis bacteriana fue 32.24 %, según la presencia laboratorial del complejo de GAMM | The type of research was observational, descriptive, cross-sectional and analytical. The population consisted of 304 women who attended the Hospital Dr. Jaime Sánchez Porcel in the city of Sucre during the period September to November 2013.
