dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this paper is to examine the following question: could\nthe study of existing buildings contribute to the history of architecture�s\nteaching practices? In order to answer this question, the concept of the\nnotion of a teaching practice is explained, and the fundamental elements of\na topographical approximation are considered. This discipline�s objects of\nstudy are works understood as objects/ events, or incidents in constructed\nspace. The paper then goes on to describe what was achieved during the\ndegree in Architecture�s History workshops at Universidad de los Andes.\nIn this environment the causes and implications of the previous statement\nbecame evident.
