dc.description.abstractThe general objective: Identify the procedural investigative competences that university teachers promote in their didactic action. From a quantitative approach, descriptive type, field design - not experimental, population 52 teachers of the subjects: research methodology, study techniques and undergraduate work, context of the research was framed in different Faculties of the Universities of Los Andes - Venezuela, the sample 37 teachers. To collect the data, was used survey techniques, and a questionnaire consisting of 28 items with Likert scale was used as instrument. Among the results: the didactic action was shown to have weaknesses in procedural investigative skills and its transfer to the students’ knowledge from the pedagogical, epistemological and communicative levels.
