Perspectiva sobre el valor social de la enfermería

Abstract

This article is based on an interview conducted with a nursing professional with a long care and academic career. It focused on the perspective of this professional on professional values and attitudes as determinants of the social value of Nursing. The information gathering technique was the semi-structured interview, consisting of a script of open questions that allowed us to obtain, from the perspective of the interviewee, her vision of the phenomenon under study. Finally, try to understand the social and human reality of one of the professions of the health sciences, allow the revision of both its theoretical bases and its professional practice.
