Abstract
La sociedad moderna se caracterizó por la explotación y extracción de los recursos naturales, lo cual llevó a distintas formas de destrucción del medio ambiente en la ilusa idea de que ellos eran interminables, eternos y renovables; con el paso del tiempo y tomando en cuenta la relación cantidad, tiempo y uso se llegó a la constatación de que tales postulados no correspondían, y no es casual de que ocupe un punto central en las agendas no sólo nacionales, sino también mundiales, ya que de ello dependerá el futuro de nuestro planeta. Conocer cuál es la actitud de los jóvenes bachilleres de la ciudad de Sucre, respecto a la ciencia en los próximos años para prevenir y resolver los problemas del medio ambiente es una tarea de quienes estamos involucrados en cualquier nivel educativo, de manera que se desarrollen vocaciones científicas en esta línea para la investigación y su aplicación en las políticas de medio ambiente en el país.
Modern society was characterized by the exploitation and extraction of natural resources, which led to different ways of destruction of the environment in the illusion that they were endless, eternal and renewable; as time goes on and considering the relation quantity, time and use it was found that such postulates did not correspond, and is no coincidence that it occupies a central point in the agendas not only national, but also worldwide, the future of our planet will depend on it. Knowing the attitude of the young graduates of the city of Sucre, regarding science in the coming years to prevent and solve environmental problems is a task of those who are involved in any level of education, so that vocations are developed in this line for research and its application in environmental policies in the country.
