dc.description.abstractRESUMEN: El presente trabajo se proyecta sobre en análisis de la reciente STS núm.488/2014, de 24 de febrero, en la que viene a confirmarse la condena al diario francés Le Monde por la vinculación del Real Madrid C. F.y otros clubes de la LFP con la trama de dopaje conocida como "Operación Puerto". Se presta atención especial al juicio de ponderación entre el derecho al honor y la libertad de información, así como el requisito de veracidad de lo publicado, la protección del prestigio profesional y la cuestión sobre el derecho al honor de las personas jurídicas.es
dc.description.abstractABSTRACT:The present study is intended to analyze the recent judgment of STS 488/2014, February 24th, 2014, in which the sentence confirmed the defamation of French newspaper Le Monde by linking Real Madrid, and other LPF football teams, with the notorious doping scandal known as "Operation Puerto". Special emphasis will be placed on the weighting between the right to honour, and the right to freedom of information, as well as the requirement for accuracy of information, the protection of the professional standing and the legal entities honour issue.en
