Abstract
El presente estudio indaga la influencia del liderazgo docente en la motivación a los estudiantes para mejorar su rendimiento. Utilizando un enfoque cuantitativo, se aplicó una encuesta basada en la escala de Likert a 365 estudiantes, evaluando su percepción del liderazgo de los docentes y su propia motivación académica para desarrollar sus actividades. La metodología de la investigación es de tipo descriptivo, con carácter exploratorio. El objetivo es analizar la influencia del liderazgo docente en la motivación de los estudiantes de la Facultad de Ciencias Empresariales. Los resultados revelan una correlación significativa entre el liderazgo efectivo del docente y la motivación estudiantil. Los estudiantes que perciben a sus profesores como líderes competentes y accesibles muestran mayores niveles de motivación intrínseca y extrínseca. Estos hallazgos sugieren que el fortalecimiento de las habilidades de liderazgo docente puede ser una estrategia eficaz para mejorar el rendimiento académico y la satisfacción estudiantil.
This study examines the influence of teacher leadership on students' motivation to enhance their academic performance. Employing a quantitative approach, a Likert-scale-based survey was administered to 365 students, assessing their perception of teachers' leadership and their academic motivation to engage in learning activities. The research methodology is descriptive with an exploratory scope. The objective is to analyze the impact of teacher leadership on the motivation of students in the Faculty of Business Sciences. The results reveal a significant correlation between effective teacher leadership and student motivation. Students who perceive their teachers as competent and approachable leaders exhibit higher levels of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. These findings suggest that fostering teacher leadership skills can be an effective strategy to enhance academic performance and student satisfaction.
