La cultura aymara en la Universidad Católica Boliviana

Abstract

Relación ensayística de la creación, desarrollo y evolución de la materia de aymara en la Universidad Católica Boliviana. A partir del contexto social que en Bolivia permitió la revalorización, difusión y oficialización de los idiomas nativos durante las tres últimas décadas del siglo XX, el autor resalta su propia participación como docente de la materia y periodista de idiomas nativos. El trabajo termina examinando críticamente la legislación que se ha producido sobre el tema, tanto internacional como nacionalmente.

Essay on the creation, development and evolution of the aymara subject at the Bolivian Catholic University. From the social context that allowed the revaluation, diffusion and oficialization of native languages in Bolivia during the last three decades of the 20th century, the author emphasizes his own participation as a professor of the subject and journalist of native languages. The work ends by critically examining the legislation that has been produced on the subject, both internationally and nationally.
