dc.description.abstractThe present work reveals the name of Andres Bello in the official place names of municipalities and parishes in the geopolitics of Venezuela as part of the legacy of the sociocultural and artistic imaginary, and therefore in the construction of epotoponimos. Thus, the research is supported theoretically and methodologically in showing the character as the humanist of America, throwing as evidence indications that refer to the loss of cultural memory in terms of the intangible because some citizens do not know who Andres Bello is, also devoid of protection those place names by the governing bodies of the law and in law, and finally in the tangible, the artistic expressions, the absence of public spaces that show and revalue the image of that man with libertarian and human principles that fills the world with creativity, love for ours, identity with their land even from a distance and freedom for all.
